Three short jobs, about fifteen minutes all up. Please don't send me any passwords. Each of these adds me as a partner on your accounts instead, so everything stays in your name and you can remove me with one click whenever you like.

Your money stays yours

Your card stays on your own ad account. You pay Meta directly and can see every dollar that goes out. I never have access to your billing details, and I can't add or change a payment method.

Meta (Facebook & Instagram)

This is the one that lets me build and run the ads.

  1. Go to business.facebook.com and sign in with the Facebook account that manages the Salt Beauty page.
  2. If you land on a business portfolio, you're already set up. If it asks you to create one, create it and name it Salt Beauty.
  3. In the left menu, open Settings, then Users, then Partners.
  4. Click Add, then choose Give a partner access to your assets.
  5. Paste my partner ID from above into the box.
  6. Tick each of these and give me full control:
    • Your ad account
    • Your Facebook page
    • Your Instagram account
    • Your pixel or dataset, if you already have one. If you don't, skip it and I'll create one for you.
  7. Click through to confirm. That's Meta done.

Fresha

So I can see which ads turn into actual booked appointments, not just clicks. Without this we're guessing.

  1. In Fresha, go to Settings, then Team, then Team members.
  2. Click Add and use andymillar84@gmail.com.
  3. Set my permission level to the highest one available.
  4. Don't assign me any services, so I never show up as someone clients can book.

Rather not? Completely fine. Skip this and I'll email you a tracking ID instead. You paste it into Add-ons, then Meta Pixel Ads, then Set up now. Takes about thirty seconds and you keep Fresha to yourself.

Your website

To add the tracking, and to build a proper booking page for the ads to land on.

  1. In Squarespace, go to Settings, then Permissions.
  2. Click Invite Contributor.
  3. Invite andymillar84@gmail.com as an Administrator.

Sending paid traffic to a general homepage leaks bookings. A page built for the one treatment we're promoting usually pays for itself quickly, which is what I'd like to build here.
